Is it really women’s only?

YES!

What if I’ve never used a gym before?

Don’t worry.  GO! is not an ordinary gym.  Book in for a quick personal assessment and an induction with a coach.  Resistance machines and conditioning stations work with your strength and ability.  We are here to guide you every step of the way.

Will 15 or 30 minute workouts make a difference to my fitness levels and body shape?

Absolutely! A combination of strength training and cardio at any level will increase your heart rate, tone your muscles and increase bone density .  Using every station will ensure all muscle groups are worked in a single workout and muscle mass burns body fat even when resting!

Do I need to book my sessions?

No.  You can come at any time during our opening hours.  Just allow enough time for your preferred workout.  If you are pushed for time or are returning to exercise, try a 15 minute circuit followed by some freestyle equipment or GO! target sessions. If you want a longer, more intense workout start with a 30 minute circuit and take it from there!

  • I am returning to exercise or recovering from an injury, will GO! allow for this?
  • I WANT A WORKOUT THAT PUSHES ME. 
  • Will GO! be intensive enough?

The resistance/strength training equipment allows you to go as fast or as steady as you like.  Within a minute you can do as many repetitions as you are able – whether its  5 or 50!  The other body conditioning stations will allow you to take a gentle pace or a fully exertive aerobic pace.  You can also get involved in other low or high intensity activities on offer at GO!

How many times a week should I workout?

We would recommend 3 times a week when possible to keep up fitness levels.  Feel free to come more often and remember, one workout is better that no workout!

Do I have to pay a joining fee to Pay as you Go?

No.  Just complete a quick personal assessment with a coach for our records and away you GO!  Each and every member will receive an induction on the strength training equipment and ideas on how to use freestyle equipment to reach their personal goals.

Do I have to be a full member to attend additional classes?

No. you can register as a PAY as you GO member so we have your details and then pay per individual class.

What happens if I need to suspend or cancel my membership?

We understand that busy ladies lives and circumstances change.  Maybe you have childcare issues, need a small operation or are traveling for a long period of time.  You can suspend your memberships at any time for just £5 per month.  If  however you have no choice but to cancel, we would ask for one months notice in writing to cancel your direct debit.
